Adopt a Park Grant & GNCA Support

In late 2023, the committee applied for grant funding through the “Adopt a Park Grant” Program run by the ACT Government. We were successful in being awarded some funding to remove the cotoneaster weeds around the playground and tidying up of the undergrowth of the cupressus conifers. This work will open up the playground area to the rest of the park. Watch this space!

We've also received some great financial support from the  Griffith Narrabundah Community Association (GNCA -  https://www.gnca.org.au), that will enable us to complete some tidy up activities in the park, but more importantly, have a Detailed Park Plan developed after we have taken the communities feedback via our survey.   Having this plan will then enable us to enlist further support with the ACT Government and also to secure resources for the park.
